SEOUL, March 14 (Yonhap) -- North Korea fired at least one unidentified projectile in an eastward direction Saturday, South Korea's military said.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff said it detected the launch, without providing further details.
The North last fired multiple short-range ballistic missiles toward the East Sea on Jan. 27.
The latest launch came as South Korea and the United States are conducting their annual springtime Freedom Shield military exercise.
