— Howard Stern and his wife, Beth Stern, are being sued by a former assistant who says they created a “hostile work environment.”
Leslie Kuhn said she faced “immense pressures” working for the Sterns and that the way they operated their business was “questionable,”
according to Entertainment Weekly
, which reviewed the court documents.
In 2022, Kuhn was hired as an office manager for
SiriusXM’s
“The Howard Stern Show” and was ultimately promoted to an executive assistant in January 2024. By May 2024, she moved into the couple’s residence in Southampton, New York.
The complaint was filed Sunday in the Supreme Court of the State of New York.
Kuhn was told she was to help Beth Stern manage the home’s staff, create staff schedules, handle staff payroll and aid Beth Stern in the day-to-day operations of her home feline rescue and fostering nonprofit, Beth’s Furry Friends.

Kuhn said she was fired in February for “cause” and that the Sterns forced her to sign confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements, which she said were “fraudulent and unenforceable.”
She also called her termination “manufactured.”
According to the lawsuit, Kuhn isn’t seeking damages or her rehiring but wants the NDA and confidentiality agreements struck down, alleging she was forced to sign them during negotiations over her termination.
She also wants the radio host and his wife to cover her court costs.
Nexstar has reached out to “The Howard Stern Show” for comment.
