Membership in AAAI is open to anyone with an interest in artificial intelligence research and development. The AI Magazine is published quarterly and is emailed in a searchable digital format to all current AAAI members. New memberships are accepted at any time, and commence at the time payment is received and the membership has been processed. Renewal dates fall on the date the membership is activated, and are not necessarily based on the calendar year. Cancellations are accepted at any time; however, memberships are nonrefundable. *Regular Individual One-Year Rate: $135.00 Three-Year Rate: $405.00 Five Year Rate: $675.00 Life Rate: $2025.00 *Full-Time Student One-Year Rate: $50.00 *Retiree (must be 65 or older and retired from full-time employment) One-Year Rate: $50.00 Institution/Library One-Year Rate: $275.00 Three-Year Rate: $825.00 Five Year Rate: $1375.00 Effective January 1, 2022, the AI Magazine will be available in online format only. AAAI Developing Countries Membership Offer As part of AAAI's international outreach initiative, AAAI is pleased to offer a special rate for members in selected developing countries . All first-time and renewing members in the countries listed are eligible for the following deeply discounted rates: Regular $20.00 (US) Student $18.00 (US) *Student applicants must send legible proof of full-time student status in a degree-bearing program, such as a letter from their faculty advisor or a copy of their registration. * The list of eligible countries for the developing country rate is subject to change without notice. As of July 1, 2021, China is no longer included on the Developing Countries list. Developing Country members are entitled to all benefits afforded regular full-paying members.
