This is your opportunity to host an inclusive, community-focused social event that encourages conversation, collaboration, and connection—outside the typical research sessions. See previous social events NeurIPS 2024 Socials Submission Deadline Oct 16th, 2025 Your proposal (max 1 page, PDF) should include: Event Scope: A clear paragraph describing your social activity and its purpose. Organizers: At least two organizers from different institutions. Single-institution submissions will be rejected. Participants: Confirm that organizers and their guests will be registered participants of NeurIPS CDMX. Estimated Attendance: Target a broad appeal—aim for 150–200 participants. Format & Content: Emphasize social interaction—events like open debates, round-table discussions, hands-on coaching, speed networking, or creative gatherings are encouraged. Logistics Needs: Indicate any required A/V, tables, chairs, breakout spaces, or other venue support. Preferred Date and Time: Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday between 6:30 - 9:00 PM, for an hour or two.
